Job Purpose:
Serves customers by identifying their needs; engineering adaptations of products, software, equipment, and services in a designated territory.
Skills/Qualifications:
Problem Solving, Product Knowledge, Selling to Customer Needs, Software Experience, Presentation Skills, Technical Understanding, Verbal Communication.
Experience in selling to pharmaceutical, biotech, research facilities, hospitals, forensics, blood facilities, a plus but not required.
Duties:
* Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and existing customers and other persons in a position to understand specific requirements.
* Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
* Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule.
* Prepares cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel.
* Develops customer's staff by providing technical information and training.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Compensation: Competitive base plus commission with potential to easily reach six figures within first full year. Benefits, 401k, car and cell phone, expense reimbursement.
