EducationB.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Biological Sciences, M.S. preferred

Previous Experience At least 2-3 years of experience in immunoassay development Experience developing immunoassays that resulted in commercialized products. Experience troubleshooting complex assay development challenges Ability to develop innovative solutions to challenging assay development problems. Experience screening and characterizing antibodies. Prefer experience in the development of multiplexed immunoassays. Ability to effectively collaborate within a dynamic team environment. Ability to meet challenging objectives under aggressive timelines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; familiarity with MS Office products, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is desirable.  Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities Execute bench level experiments with the expectation that the candidate will in time be able to write protocols and conceive of his/her own experimental plans. Develop and validate assays on the BioCD technology platform. Be able to make detailed experimental observations and communicate critical input on experimental designs and approaches.  Be able to analyze data, record and report the results, discussion and conclusions and suggest a plan moving forward. Comply with all regulatory requirements including maintaining a laboratory notebook according to company guidelines. Order supplies, be aware of laboratory inventory, and maintain laboratory equipment and lab cleanliness.
