The Assembly Technician will be responsible for the initial assembly and testing of electromechanical components for integration into complex diagnostic instrumentation on a semi-customized production line.

 

In this position, you will: Follow written technical instructions, procedures and annotated drawings to assemble electrical and mechanical componentsComply with all documentation and production record keeping as directedUnderstand and follow quality and safety proceduresMake suggestions on how to improve assembly procedures and/or instructionsMaintain a safe, clean & organized working area



The successful candidate will have:

· High School Diploma required. Associates or Bachelors degree a plus

· One or more years experience assembling electromechanical components in a manufacturing environment

· Basic analytical troubleshooting skills

· Ability to read and accurately follow written procedures and annotated drawings

· Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail

· Previous experience developing and/or modifying SOPs for new processes, materials, products a plus

· Ability to learn use of electronic diagnostic equipment including voltmeter and oscilloscop

· Ability to cross train others, and provide assistance as needed

· Experience with GMP manufacturing and/or medical devices a significant plus

· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Visio, and Excel
