Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator

Biolab Research, a premiere clinical research facility in Maryland, is looking for five to six exceptional and self-motivated individuals eager to start an exciting career as Assistant Clinical Coordinator. 

Applicants must have a medical background. He or she should be familiar with medical terminology, able to collect pertinent clinical history, obtain vital signs, perform EKGs, to know phlebotomy or willing to be trained to do phlebotomy, etc. A diploma for a degree as Medical Assistant, LPN, or Bachelor in Science, could be helpful but not necessary.  A second language might be helpful: Spanish or Italian. The candidates will be enrolled in a 2-week training course before starting to work. At the end of the training they will receive a letter of completion.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Under the direction of Principal Investigator and Study Coordinator candidates will screen subjects who might qualify for the studies, participate in inform consenting procedures, perform study procedures, including data collection and documentation, collection, processing and packing of study specimens. All these activities should follow accurately the guidelines of the Study Protocols .
