Associate Analyst

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

1.)  Conduct routine testing of raw materials, in process samples, bulk, stability and finished pharmaceutical products and any other samples as required, and prepare reports accurately and in compliance with all cGMP requirements and company SOP’s.

 

2.)  Prepare analytical documentation with accurate and complete lab records meeting GMP requirements.

 

3.)  Ensure laboratory solutions, reagents and standards are current by routine evaluation of inventory.

 

4.)  Prepare and standardize volumetric solutions and test standards.

 

5.)  Perform other support testing such as swab cleaning, validation, calibration and new product testing.

 

6.)  Participate in all individual related OOS’s by troubleshooting potential sources of   error and assignable cause.

 

7.)  Assist Laboratory Supervisors and Analysts in any activities essential to the efficient operation of the laboratory.

 

8.)  Participate in the daily maintenance of the laboratory facilities and equipment.

 

9.)  Responsible for working in compliance with established safe work practices and   procedures; properly uses personal protection and safety equipment as required by CPL; reports any injury or illness immediately and notifies CPL of any hazards, unsafe acts or conditions in the work place.

10.)  Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

1)  A minimum of a two-year degree in chemistry or related discipline is required.

2)  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

3)  Ability to understand cGMP’s and compendial testing requirements.
