 Associate Conference Producer



Cambridge Healthtech Institute (CHI) is a 100-employee, leading producer of biotech conferences and publications. CHI is seeking a full-time, extremely organized Associate Conference Producer. This position supports a conference producer who works from home in southern Oregon and requires the assistant to work from home and reside in or near southern Oregon. The Associate Producer is responsible for:

· Written and phone communication with high-level pharmaceutical and biotech executives, scientists and academics

· Proofreading and copy-editing all conference materials

· Traveling to and running conferences onsite

· Conducting competitive conference research and topic research online

· Managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

· Efficiently interacting with sales, marketing and meeting planning departments, while working from a home office

 

QUALIFICATIONS

-  Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably in life sciences)

-  At least 3 years of administrative, editorial or conference production experience

-  Ideal candidates will have experience in a deadline-driven job that includes copy-editing technical documents, Internet research, and strong written and oral communications skills

-  Exceptional computer and Internet research skills

-  Project manager with outstanding organizational and time-management skills
