Currently, we have a great opportunity for a highly motivated professional to provide leadership and scientific guidance in creating effective, innovative clinical development plans.

Specifically, you will:

• Participate in and lead cross-functional teams charged with executing various aspects of clinical development plans
• Provide broad scientific support for clinical trials from protocol concept through data interpretation and communication
• Apply advanced technical principles, theories and concepts in clinical development while contributing to the development of new principles and concepts
• Provide strategic input, scientific and QA support to internal teams, our corporate partner(s) and/or CROs that are developing statistical plans, top line clinical results, clinical study reports, and clinical NDA sections
• Review and edit documents (e.g. clinical study reports, protocols, case report forms, statistical analysis plans, manuscripts) generated by Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Corporate Communications, or CROs
• Guide preliminary and exploratory data analysis and interpretation of clinical trials
• Provide support to Clinical, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Business Development, and Corporate Communications departments to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of data presentations
• Provide input to Clinical Research for conduct of first-in-man and early-stage development activities
• Influence, develop, drive and support clinical development strategies and initiatives


Requirements
This position requires:

• A Ph.D. or PharmD. with at least 4 years of experience in drug development (diabetes and/or obesity related product experience preferred)
• Excellent detail orientation, organizational, leadership, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills
• A proven track record of leading complex cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with biostatistics, programming and data management.
