Associate Director/Director Corporate Communications

Repligen is seeking a hands-on investor relations professional to manage the investor outreach program to ensure effective communication of our strategy and financial performance to the investment community.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

 Reporting to the VP, Market Development, the Associate Director Corporate Communications will be responsible to develop and implement strategies and tactics to communicate the attributes and value of Repligen to the financial community.  This person will be responsible for managing investor relations activities to enhance the company’s image and reputation with current and prospective analysts and investors through the management of investor communications, events management and other investor relations functions.  Specific responsibilities include the following:

 –  Proactively manage relationships with existing and potential institutional investors and analysts including targeting, relationship development, tracking and market feedback to management.

–  Manage external investor relations and corporate communications consultant(s) including oversight of investor road shows and individual meetings.  Take responsibility to ensure appropriate communications through these channels.

–  Develop communication vehicles to support investor outreach program including the creation of presentation materials for investor meetings and conference presentations.

–  Research, write and/or take primary responsibility for the content and production of press releases, fact sheets, background materials, annual reports, investor kits and website content.  Issue press releases and manage quarterly conference calls and collaborate with finance and legal on the preparation of SEC filings.

–  Develop and continually improve investor relations plan, creating strategies, communication messages, tactics, timelines and budget.

–  Create, maintain, and manage the IR budget for the Company.

–  Conduct ongoing research and analysis of best practices in the investor relations community related to websites, communication materials and vehicles, and make appropriate recommendations.

 QUALIFICATIONS

 –  5+ years of demonstrated high-level professional knowledge and skills in the area of corporate communications and/or investor relations in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

–  A bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific discipline.

–  Proactive style with a sense of urgency to introduce, position and market the company to investors and potential investors.

–  Excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as ability to create dynamic powerpoint presentations.  Self-starter with strong attention to detail.

–  Demonstrated multi-tasking and project management skills and ability to adhere to deadlines while maintaining high quality work product.  Capable of managing shifting priorities in a rapidly changing environment.

–  Ability to understand and adapt to different audiences, their needs and potential reactions to communications.

–  Marketing experience and graphic design skills a plus.
