Currently, we have a great opportunity for a highly motivated team leader to work with the Amylins Operations departments to define business needs, IM Systems strategy, support for continued growth and product commercialization, and determine application system requirements to meet business goals.

Specifically, you will:

• Manage the Manufacturing and Operations IM project portfolio, systems, project budgets, schedules, and documentation
• Work with senior level management to plan and prioritize IM systems for Manufacturing and Operations and participate on Manufacturing and Operations committees
• Work with external service providers to manage data and information flow across the supply chain
• Implement and manage forecasting and planning tools for commercial and investigation drug supplies
• Work with manufacturing sites to plan and implement appropriate corporate and local IM systems using S98 standards
• Qualify independent software vendors (ISVs), system integrators (SIs) and application service providers (ASPs)
• Facilitate the review and selection of applications based on system requirements and formal RFQs and RFPs
• Negotiate with suppliers on software licenses, maintenance agreements, services contracts and service level agreements
• Oversee the development, customization or configuration of systems according to system specifications and Amylina Software Development Lifecycle and project management methodology
• Develop, document, and manage the performance and periodic testing of application restore and disaster recovery plans
• Manage and mentor IM staff

This position requires:

• A BA/BS in related field or equivalent experience; MS and/or PhD in related science-based field desirable Pharmaceutical or Life Science industry experience
• At least 7-9 years of management experience as well as applicable manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, planning, and ERP systems project management experience
• Demonstrated skills in supervising, coaching, mentoring, and developing IM professionals, including systems analysts, project managers, system administrators, programmers, and database architects
• Demonstrated experience in operations/manufacturing/supply chain database architectures including experience with systems such as EnterpriseOne ERP, manufacturing PLCs, HMIs, BMS, SCADA systems, S88/S95 standards, and external service provider data integration tools
• Experience deploying, managing, and monitoring global information systems to support data sharing from Product Development through to Commercialization
• A strong customer service orientation
• Excellent written/verbal communications skills
• The ability to present strategy, vision, and IM recommendations to various levels of senior management
