Associate Director, Product Marketing

Description
The Associate Director, Product Marketing will be responsible for managing all activities associated with the in-line products for the virology and oncology therapeutic areas. This includes the management of pre-launch, launch, and ongoing commercial personnel and activities that relate to branding, advertising and promotion, medical education program development and execution, advisory boards, product adoption and market dynamics associated with products. S/he will work with the product managers to develop pre-launch or launch plans, define ongoing opportunities to create new business and partner with Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, Commercial Operations, and other groups in order to achieve company’s business objectives.
Key Activities:Responsible for setting and meeting business objectives for both the virology and oncology product lines to optimize market share, growth, and profitabilityProvides oversight for the creation and execution of the brand and launch strategies and tacticsLeads and coordinates cross functional teamsManages product managers and support personnelResponsible for budgets and tracking of budgets associated with product activitiesKeeps abreast of professional, technical and trade developments essential to the selling of Monogram’s products
Qualifications:B.S. or B.A. degree in a scientific discipline and MBA strongly preferredMinimum of 5-7 years experience in the brand or product management function in the biotech, healthcare or pharmaceutical companyStrong product management expertise; launch experience preferredExcellent leadership and people management skills/experienceProven ability to lead cross functional teams and manage direct reportsStrong business acumen, analytical skills and results orientationAbility to exert influence management in a matrix organizationExcellent communication (verbal and written) skills
