(GBSC), a member of Johnson and Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for an Associate II, DPC Manufacturing located in Malvern, PA. The Associate II, DPC Manufacturing is responsible for performing manufacturing procedures and the execution of scheduled tasks within a CGMP environment in the Direct Product Capture Manufacturing Department. This position is responsible for quality and maintaining the highest standards in compliance within company policies, procedures, and all applicable regulations. This individual will execute manufacturing processes according to DPC Manufacturing standard operating procedures. This individual will verify and enter production parameters per SOP and Batch Record on trained procedures. This individual will retrieve and analyze trend charts and process data on trained procedures. This individual will accurately complete documentation in SOP's, logbooks, and other GMP documents. This individual will wear the appropriate PPE when working in manufacturing and other hazardous working environments and perform CIP/SIP of vessels, skids and transfer lines. This individual will perform daily cleaning and sanitization of the production area and may assist in the revision of process documentation (SOPs and batch records). This individual will train on aseptic processing in a laminar flow hood. This individual will carry out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including FDA, EPA, and OSHA. This individual will attend departmental and other scheduled meetings. The indvidual will deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. This individual will have good interpersonal and communication skills. This individual will demonstrate positive team-orientated attitude in the daily execution of procedures. This individual will promote and work within a team environment. This individual will lead or assist the troubleshooting of manufacturing processes A High School Diploma and 2 years biotech / pharmaceutical or equivalent industry experience OR a minimum of BS Degree with a minimum of 1 year of biotech / pharmaceutical or equivalent industry experience is required. The candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of GMPs as well as CIP / SIP processes. Basic mathematical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals is required. Knowledge and the ability to operate manufacturing and hand tools are required. The qualified candidate must also have a good understanding of MS office and the ability to solve practical problems. The ability to work with high levels of concentration is also required. This position will be located in Malvern, PA and will require the candidate to work a flexible shift schedule and the ability to work weekends and holiday's.
