POSITION TITLE: Associate Marketing Communications Manager REPORTS TO: Marketing Communications Manager STATUS: Exempt X Non Exempt JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: The Associate Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for coordination of all marketing communication materials, web based communications, tradeshows, and sales support materials for existing and new products & applications. The Associate Marketing Communications Manager works closely with product marketing, sales, and external agencies to implement strategies and tactics to expand the market and increase share of existing and new products. This position reports directly to the Marketing Communications Manager. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Implement key elements of the Marketing Communications Plan 2. Work closely with product and marketing managers and sales training to create, revise and update all sales support and marketing collateral materials. 3. Facilitate and execute company national and regional trade show strategy. 4. Manage LIFC presentation resource library 5. Webmaster 6. Enforce corporate branding strategy 7. Manage coordination of internal review process, requiring a thorough understanding of FDA requirements for medical device promotional activities. 8. Manage external vendors. QUALIFICATIONS: MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required in marketing, communications or related field; MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Two years marketing communications experience, preferably with medical devices. Solid understanding of the marketing support process for trade shows & conferences. Excellent writing & copy editing skills. Strong understanding of the print production processes for marketing materials. Strong results orientation. Excellent project management skills. Demonstrated teamwork skills. Customer oriented. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. EQUIPMENT USED: Computer, photocopier, fax, desk, chair, file cabinet, bookshelf, phone. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: General office. COMMUNICATION REQUIREMENTS: Excellent grammar, verbal and written communication skills. Congenial, diplomatic, patient, and able to interact well with customers. Must work well in a fast-paced environment with multi-task abilities and detail-oriented. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift boxes weighing not more than 50 lb., normal speech, hearing and vision. MENTAL/APTITUDE REQUIREMENTS: Proficient with Math and complex analytical concepts, ability to multi-tasks and manage substantial workload. Attention to detail. Ability to quickly grasp concepts and processes. Ability to integrate computer processes and technical concepts.
