Associate Product Manager, MVS

Position Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to drive demand and maximize sales and profit for the MVS business unit by supporting worldwide pricing, promotion, and distribution activities. This position will support both upstream and downstream marketing activities, with specific duties including the following:1. Assist with development of marketing strategy and planning2. Develop, implement, and manage marketing mix tactical elements in support of the overall marketing strategy3. Actively support the selling efforts of various MEDRAD distribution channels4. Support the analysis and development of new service opportunities including business case analysis, modeling, and launch planning5. Manage the acquisition and inventory of inbound products6. Develop and implement targeted training activities7. Support development of annual and five-year product portfolio plansTechnical and Behavioral Requirements:1. Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred2. Deep understanding of the various tools, techniques, and analytical processes that enable effective product management and associated decision making3. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies and tactics to achieve business results4. Ability to understand the key demand drivers and model them effectively to improve forecasting and develop targeted marketing programs5. Demonstrated ability to assess and understand disparate qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources on market opportunities and draw meaningful conclusions6. Financial and data analysis acumen to prepare detailed business analysis according to valid requirements. Demonstrated ability to apply financial concepts for a full range of applications, including profitability analysis7. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams with key interfaces: Sales, Operations, Product Engineering, etc. Demonstrated ability to mobilize others to meet customer satisfaction requirements8. Demonstrated customer focus in dealing with internal and external customers.9. Proven MEDRAD/Market Industry knowledge and global perspective10. Proven ability to demonstrate at minimum, MEDRAD’s Supervisor/Manager competencies: Decision Quality, Developing Direct Reports, Motivating Others, and Managerial Courage11. Excellent oral, written, listening, persuasion and consensus building and presentation skills12. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and data reporting tools
