Associate Product Marketing Manger

The qualified candidate should posses general marketing skills including strong written and communications skills and marketing program development and management. Health Care, Pharmaceutical, or Medical Device, Internet, direct marketing is a plus 

Job Purpose:  The Associate Product Marketing Manger wil assist the Product Manager in the implement marketing programs and strategies to drive the success of Cynosures products. 

 Specific duties and responsibilities:



Product DevelopmentDevelop knowledge of the product development efforts and assist product managers in the execution in the marketing and distribution activities of the launch of new products.

MarketingIn conjunction with the product manager and sales, develop creative briefs for the development  of ads, literature, videos and other collateral materialsDevelop knowledge of the competitive products and companiesAid in the development of launch packages for effective promotion of new productsCommunicate with ad agency project specifications and timelines.Assist in the ongoing development of physician practice marketing materials including direct mail, billboard ads, infomercials, ads, brochures, videos, etcDevelop webinarsEstablish metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities

 Sales SupportDevelop, implement, monitor and evaluate sales and promotional programs to determine their success. Assist sales force in providing marketing supportAssist the product manager with sales training activities Responsible for updating on an ongoing basis all sales collateralEstablish relationship with field sales reps and participate on sales calls quarterly

InternetProvide ongoing new content for the website to be updatedMonitor traffic on Internet site

Public RelationsAssist the product manager in support of the public relations agency

Luminary DevelopmentWork with key customers to cultivate relationships within the medical community to monitor successful treatment techniques and areas of treatmentAttend trade shows and workshops

 

Behavioral and Interpersonal: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Highly organized and possesses good interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team environment.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

BS or BA in Marketing or technical-related field or equivalent3-5 years experience in marketingDevelopment of marketing programs (direct mail, ads, brochures, etc)Internet and CRM experience a plusInterest in the medical/healthcare fieldMust have working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and graphics computer programsApproximately 20% travel is required
