Associate Project Manager Project Operations Lifecycle Sciences Group Houston, TX The Associate Project Manager will coordinate and manage the activities of individual studies in a manner that ensures all timeframes and targets are met and that cost are kept under control. Manage projects in a timely manner in adherence with SOPs and appropriate regulations and liaises with other department managers as necessary to achieve this. Supports development and maintenance of project management documents, including but not limited to: project timelines, project management plans, communication plans and risk analysis plans. Supports the review/approval of project related materials, including but not limited to: protocol/guidance, informed consent forms, case report forms, site training materials, reports, and newsletters. Supports monitoring of the quality specification within the project. Liaises with clients on project related matters. Supports the assessment of data management and site management processes with Managers in an effort to ensure project efficiency and consistency. Supports the management of the Data Operations component of the project. Supports the management of project financials, including but not limited to: change in scope, client and vendor invoicing/reimbursement, and grant payments. Keeps individual projects costs under control. Supports liaising with other managers to improve the effectiveness of the organization. Keeps senior management informed of project status in relation to quality, timelines and staff issues. Maintains confidentiality of management information as appropriate. Minimum required education (with a background in medicine, science or relevant discipline preferred) is a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Experience with EDC or software development preferred. One or more years of relevant experience are required. Proficient in computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
