Associate Scientist III - Enzymology

Essential job functions The Enzymology group in GEP of Invitrogen’s R & D department is looking for a qualified Associate Scientist II to work on products development of PCR, RT-PCR and cDNA synthesis. Under minimal supervision, this individual will conduct research for amplification product development. Candidates should be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently as well as with other scientists. Educational requirements Required: M.S. in Molecular Biology or Biochemistry with minimum one year experience or a B.S. with more than 4 years experience in R & D. Experience requirements Required: Experience in PCR and RT-PCR amplification.Preferred: Hands-on experience in product development in the area of molecular biology.
