Novum PRS is a specialist Contract Research Organization that offers study services to the generic, pharmaceutical, biotechnology industries and other Clinical Research Organizations.  We currently have openings for research professionals to join our team in Las Vegas, NV.

 

GeneralProvides support, direction and day to day support for CRA’s. Works with CTSM & Project Team Leaders (PTL) to ensure adequate CRA  levels are maintained to meet project goals. Hire new CRA’s as needed. Ensure CRA’s are appropriately trained through both internal and external resources to be productive team members. Review with CRA all timesheets; sign off for absence, vacation, sickness. Ensure CRA’s are trained and follow company policies and procedures with respect to travel and other administrative requirements. Work with PTL’s and CTSM to ensure that project teams have the correct mix of  skill sets, personalities, and knowledge for successful project completion.

Other Works closely with the Controllers and Human Resources to provide the necessary HR and Accounting support for operational and company excellence.  Assist in projects requested by Novum senior management. Order office supplies for CT staff at Las Vegas location. Work with CRA’s to procure supplies necessary for individual projects. Assess assigned CRA’s for job performance. Schedule, supervise and discipline employees as necessary. Other duties as assigned.

 



Requirements




Qualifications Management experience preferably in a scientific or medical environment. Proven track record of success providing oversight to a diverse group of employees. Knowledge of Microsoft applications. This position requires up to 30% travel and may be irregular in nature Possible weekend travel occasionally Possible international travel Valid drivers’ license is required
