BioMedical Animal Technologist II

Exciting Opportunity! Biomedical research facility specializing in cancer and genetic research is in search of a Laboratory Technologist to maintain mouse colony. Responsibilities:-Perform basic biomethods, as well as specialized surgical and pathological procedures.-Develop surgical techniques and test procedures. -Perform physiological measurements in mice. -Assist in experimental design and project implementation.-Provide careful documentation of project related observations in database.-Possess working knowledge of laboratory equipment and instruments.-Prepare solutions and reagents.-Maintain and manage animal colony health status. -Perform cage changes, training, and receiving/inventory.
