Read On!We have a Vice President of Biostatistics position available in the Grove City, OH area with an expanding global oncology clinical research organization ( CRO ), specializing in the conduct of oncology clinical trials.In the position, you will be responsible for oversight of all biostatistical activities associated with the organization's oncology division, as well as serve as member of the management team. Additional responsibilities include the following:* Develop and support the infrastructure for conducting biostatistical analysis for the oncology division including management and training of US-based statisticians * Provide leadership and guidance to biostatistical support groups in India and Belgium in conducting oncology statistical analysis * Develop and oversee statistical processes and documentation to support all aspects of the organization's oncology business from protocol concept through NDA filings * Serve as the primary interface with clients on statistical issues * Serve on Data Safety Monitoring Boards as required * Provide support to appropriate regulatory agencies for discussion and defense of statistical plans and analysis including client representation at meetings with the agencies * As a member of the management team, provide input into the growth and operation of the division's oncology business * Support business development in procuring new business including bid proposal input and defense meetings * Perform other duties as requiredWhat you need for this position:You need to have a solid business, regulatory and sales (business development) background, in addition to the following...* PhD or MSc in biostatistics * At least 10-years of oncology biostatistical experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry * At least 3 years of management experience * Strong SAS programming skills * Strong computer/technology skills such as MS Excel, Word, etc. * Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple demands * Stable Work History * Ability to travelWhat's in it for you:* Competitive base salary and bonus plan * Excellent Benefits including Stock Options * Relocation assistanceSo, if you're a Statistician with at least 10-years of oncology biostatistical experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry, and you also have management experience and an MSc or PhD in biostatistics...
