Biotech Plant Manager

Located in the Midwest within 25 miles of metropolitan area.

Our firm has recently been contracted to locate highly qualified candidates for a new Plant / Operations Manager.  This highly visible position involves overseeing the operations and management of both the facility and personnel in a highly technical and state of the art facility. 

 

This plant is involved in the production of new innovative high protein supplement for additive in animal growth.  The ideal candidate will be able to direct operations in production, warehousing distribution, and understand cost analysis.  Manage key staff of Chemical and Industrial engineers who oversee ten to 25 employees in plant operations.  This position will carry out the direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees as well as supervise responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities also include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. 

 

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years of direct plant management experience. 

International company experience preferred.
