Job Description Branch Lead Shipping Clerk We are seeking someone to join our team and be first contact and lead in all aspects of warehouse duties including shipping, receiving and stocking. Assist in organization of work, training of employees, paperwork, and interface with the Central Distribution Center. The ideal candidate should demonstrate an ability to understand basic math, communicate clearly, with an appreciation for detail and a willingness to learn. Position Highlights: - Assist in daily assignment of tasks for personnel- Monitor pulling, packing, and manifesting of orders to identify and correct errors, as well as retrain to avoid repetition of the error.- Assist in expediting Branch Facility stock order shipments.- Provide input for personnel evaluations, and provide counsel where needed.- Ability to adjust schedule to meet shipping schedule and demands. Skills, Education and Experience Qualifications: - HS Diploma or GED required, some college preferred.- Experience in a manufacturing environment desired.- Strong organizational and communication skills- Good basic math skills- Ability to lift 63 pounds from floor to waist when required.
