The Budget Developer will be responsible for setting up excel budget template, preparing and input text to budget, generating costing spreadsheets, organizing approvals, preparing variance and revision documentation, undertaking reconciliations, database maintenance and information flow. Additional responsibilities are as follows:Key AccountabilitiesBudget Development' Support the preparation of budgets for all types of proposals according to T&E provided' Set up folders and files to monitor budget' Set up appropriate budget templates and add text from text library' Prepare costs using spreadsheet workbooks as directed by Manager and ensure sign off' Provide background data on all budgets giving historic, competitive and standard pricing from relevant databaseBudget Support and Procedures' Maintain specific databases with budgetary or competitor information' Maintain a central wording library with all new specification text for project activities' Participate in preparation of database solution when identified' Follow policies and processes to be compliant with Sarbanes Oxley regulationsVariances' Track budget changes providing cost documentation for sign off to appropriate client budget specificationReconciliations' Preparation of reconciliations in liaison with Manager, Project Manager, Program Manager, Editorial Leader or CSD.' Provision of final reconciliation documentation in line with Sarbanes Oxley and Client Finance reporting requirements ' Monitor reconciliations to check accuracy of pricing Qualifications/ExperienceFinancial work roles in budgeting or associated areasPreferably business or financial qualification Clear understanding of PPSI processes, policies and proceduresGood understanding of key functions, Client Services and Client workingsCompetent in the use of Excel and ability to adapt to new database and software packagesAbility to investigate, analyze and appraise numerical informationSkills/Personal characteristicsGood oral and written communication skillsCustomer / deadline focusedExcellent Organizational and multi tasking abilityCapable of high volume outputAccuracy and attention of detailWe have a casual, friendly, atmosphere promoting individual development and career growth.
