Business Analyst, IS

The Business Analyst, IS performs the analysis, planning and coordination of software implementation to support business requirements. Learns user functions, organization and role in the enterprise to the extent required per project assigned. Provides end-user support for applications, including trouble shooting issues identified by internal / external clients and coordinating with developers to resolve. May support Testing and Quality Assurance of systems to be implemented.

 

Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following:

- Translate client requirements into solutions (application customization, reports, web tools, analysis tools, etc.) that solve client requests.

- Write requirements including business specifications for clients and/or technical specifications for developers.

- Size projects; create estimates and written statements of work for presentation to clients.

- Perform informal testing of solutions, when necessary, for quality assurance of applications built.

- Provide end-user support of application.

- Deliver solutions to customer; coordinate rollout with users and developers; provide training and support.


Job Qualifications:
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years professional experience

Preferred:
- Knowledge of SQL
- Pharmaceutical experience
- Knowledge of Visio
- Knowledge of MS Project
