Business Development Executive

Ambry Genetics is a rapidly growing diagnostic and biotechnology services company in the Orange County, CA area.  We are currently seeking a PhD or MD level pharmacologist / toxicologist / biologist to be a part of the business development team to work on projects with pharmaceutical companies, and follow through pharmaceutical scientist to design experiments and deliver results. The successful candidate will devote significant time to sales / business development as well as applying scientific understanding to projects, and will be expected to develop into the role of project and team leader. This position must interact with marketing, research, and clinical molecular genetics groups.   This would be an ideal position for a scientist looking to move away from the bench and apply what he/she knows towards the business side of the industry.



The ideal candidate will have:

 

· PhD in Pharmacology, Toxicology, or Molecular Biology and 2-3 years relevant experience

· Thorough understanding of drug development and clinical trial processes

· Strong verbal and written communication skills
