Business Development Manager - Bioprocess Licensing & Contract Mfg.

The Business Development Manager will work with both established and prospective accounts in North America to promote and support the commercialization of leading-edge bioprocess technologies in pharmaceutical drug development through out-licensing, contract manufacturing and partnership development.  These technologies are focused on drug development and include strain development, development of production processes and analytical methods, cGMP process implementation, scale up, technology transfer and cGMP commercial manufacturing of material.

REQUIRES:  Bachelors or higher degree in Life Sciences such as biology, biotechnology, microbiology, pharmacology, etc.; a minimum of 5 years sales experience selling to the pharmaceutical and biotech industry; a minimum of 3 years business development experience working with the drug development industry; a familiarity with and network of contacts within the biotech, pharmaceutical and drug development industry, and the willingness to travel about 40% including some travel to Western Europe.
