Business Development Professionals

Patni Life Sciences, Inc. (formerly Taratec) is expanding our sales team and seeking to hire top-notch Business Development Professionals who will service life science clients on the East Coast (NJ, NY, PA or MA) and in the San Francisco, CA area. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Utilize your “hunter” sales skills, global deliver model knowledge and solution selling techniques to sell consulting services and project-based solutions to achieve $2+ million annually.

• Establish new clients and business relationships within the life science industry.

• Develop business, cold call, generate leads and meet or exceed revenue goals.

 

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Experience selling IT and/or validation & compliance solutions to life science companies.

• Experience selling global delivery solutions (offshore solutions).

• Demonstrated experience in new business development and account penetration.

• Proficient, knowledgeable and effective in selling strategic and project based solutions to senior level management.

• Established relationships with key decision makers in the life science industry and having the ability to leverage those contacts into new business opportunities.

• Capable to effectively manage the sales process including, lead generation, qualification and proposal development. Furthermore, exhibits above average closing skills.

• Proven and consistent track record selling a minimum of $1.5 million, annually.

• Demonstrated strong year to year growth at assigned clients.

• A Bachelors Degree or higher degree.
