We provide strategic, operational, financial and technology related advisory services to Life, P&C, Reinsurance and Insurance Brokerage firms. Deloitte's professionals are recognized as leaders in the insurance industry holding leadership positions in numerous professional industry organizations. Moreover, Deloitte's Insurance Consulting Practice continues to be recognized for its capabilities   A Manager with Deloitte Consulting LLP will manage and deliver large, complex Insurance engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions and technology solutions for large Insurance clients.  Managers are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including: - Engagement Management:  manage engagement risk, manage project economics including planning and budgeting, manage accounts receivable, define deliverable content, ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client. - Client Management:  Manage the day to day interactions with client management and sponsorship  - Business Development: develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients, participate in and may lead aspects of the proposal development process. - People Development: perform role of counselor and coach, provide input and guidance into the staffing process, and actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities.   Provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. - 6+ years in consulting services, including at least 3 years of project management experience. - Majority ofengagement experience focused on the Insurance market segment. - Significant experience managing / leading complex programs, operations and product launches.  - Experience managing mixed teams, including clients and contractors with both business and technical backgrounds (include offshore teams). - Experience managing the career development and performance issues of direct reports. - Experience analyzing, designing and implementing large scale Insurance/technology solutions. - Strong communication experience should include: presentation / proposal assistance, as well as an ability to interact effectively with people at all levels within a team or client organization. - Very high attention to detail. - Stellar work ethic. - Ability to accommodate client, as required. - Bachelor's degree, MBA strongly preferred. Experience with IT Strategy, Policy Administration, Claims Administration and/or Underwriting will enable you to make an immediate contribution.
