Deloitte Consulting is a leader in providing strategic, financial, operational and information technology assistance to our technology, media and telecommunications clients.  Whether it's counseling on new business models, tending the top and bottom lines through new revenue streams and cost reduction, protecting intellectual rights, or managing risk, we have the scale and diversity of experience to help clients succeed.   Telecommunications Services and Solutions - Business evolution and strategic flexibility - Merger integration strategies including operation integration, PMO, and cost reduction - Billing and operations support systems (OSS) transformation - Advanced Mobile Service Solutions (AMSS) implementation - Strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management - Product lifecycle management - Contact center and customer relationship management - Sales force effectiveness - Information technology strategies, IT cost reduction, business  intelligence and application outsourcing advisory services Responsibilities: - Design and implementation of custom, technology enabled business solutions for Billing Support Systems and Operations Support Systems as a billable resource. - Act as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions. - Define systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementation. - Analyze and diagnose client issues and manage day-to-day client relationships at peer client levels. As a Sr. Consultant, you will gain exposure to multiple industries and service lines within the practice while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by engagement follow-on opportunities. Senior Consultants must have: - A technical background (e.g., Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) - 3-5 years experience with 1-2 years experience in lead roles within the IT organization (e.g., IT Project Manager, IT Operations Manager, Application Architect, Application Development Lead, etc.) - Demonstrated prior experience in working in complex project teams, through design, development, and/or operations of complex technology environments (programs, applications, systems and/or infrastructure) - Demonstrated prior experience in performing technology assessments and developing strategic recommendations - Ability to articulate leading business issues and trends, including the associated technology implications within one or more industries - Demonstrated experience in business process improvement and the application of business acumen while leveraging information technology - Experience with IT organization design and management principles/techniques(ITIL, ITSM), as well as IT management tools (e.g., Mercury, PlanView, ProSight, Niku) is preferred - Demonstrated leadership and team building abilities - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - A willingness to travel to client locations - At least 2 large OSS or BSS implementations as a billable resource for a wireline, wireless, RBOC or hybrid provider. 4+ years of relevant industry or consulting experience required. Full cradle to grave implementation experience is preferred. - University degree required.
