This consulting group helps clients effectively address complex challenges that arise in litigation, disputes, investigations, regulatory compliance, procurement, financial distress, and other sources of significant conflict or change. The Company also helps clients deliver superior customer and capital market performance through integrated strategic, operational, and organizational change. They provide services to a wide variety of both financially sound and distressed organizations, including Fortune 500 companies, medium-sized businesses, leading academic institutions, healthcare organizations, and the law firms that represent these various organizations.
The Company’s Health and Education Consulting Practice provides assistance to hospitals, health systems, physicians, managed care organizations, academic medical centers, colleges, universities, and pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. Huron's professionals develop and implement solutions to help clients address financial management, strategy, operational and organizational effectiveness, research administration, and regulatory compliance.
Position Description:
Managers provide day-to-day management of projects, as well as hands-on functional /technical experience to Higher Education and Academic Medical Center clients. Will work with internal colleagues and client team members through the entire implementation lifecycle, including strategy, planning, configuration, design, build, conversion, training, go live, and post production support.
Responsibilities will include:
• Project management;
• Identification of business intelligence needs;
• BI software selection and implementation;
• Reporting / analytics design;
• Test script identification/execution;
• Change management planning and execution.
The ideal candidate will have proven project management skills; good written and verbal communication skills; good interpersonal skills and experience facilitating group meetings and interview sessions; strong analytical skills used to translate information from meetings into documentation that can be shared with meeting participants and project teams; a positive and professional attitude; and a desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree• Experience with end-to-end business intelligence / data warehouse implementations using one or more of the tools below
• Strong knowledge of one or more of the following tools: Oracle / PeopleSoft EPM; Oracle / Hyperion; Oracle Business Intelligence (Siebel Analytics); Cognos; Business Objects; Informatica; IBM / Ascential
• Ability to translate business needs into workable technology solutions;
• Excellent communication skills - oral and written - and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration
• The ability to establish credibility in the eyes of senior-level, financially literate university and hospital executives on the basis of expertise, maturity, and professionalism
• The ability to train and participate in the professional development of staff in both project-management and technical dimensions
• Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
