Business Intelligence Systems/Report Developer - Pharmaceutical (Top Dollar/Direct Hire)

Our client, a thriving pharmaceutical firm in the Raleigh area, is currently recruiting for a top-notch IT professional, whose specialty is Reporting Systems and Development, to join its high caliber team in a key, newly-created role.  Company is undergoing substantial expansion and change.  Reporting in all functional areas needs an increased level of depth and sophistication.  Seek a seasoned and astute IT/IS professional to drive this function. Primary role will be to evaluate the effectiveness of the current Reporting function and to conceptualize, develop and deploy enhanced Systems and Deliverables.  This will include the development, deployment and support of all Reports, Report Applications, Data Warehouses, and Business Intelligence Systems.  Incumbent will work with all operating units (early focus on Sales and Marketing) to understand their business needs, operating dynamics and data analysis capacity and then develop tools/resources that offer optimal support. ·  Specific responsibilities: ·  Develop reports from the data warehouse utilizing the company’s Business Intelligence Suite.·  Develop efficient and reliable quality control processes and methods.  Automate as appropriate.·  Provide ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the data warehouse reports and the overall Business Intelligent environment.·  Participate in all aspects of data warehouse / analytical projects – including conceptualization, design, construction, testing, selection, deployment, and post-implementation support.·  Train and assist users to ensure optimal usage of routine and ad hoc queries and reports. ·  Seek an outstanding IT/IS professional whose technical skills are complemented by an astute business savvy and demonstrated ability to successfully work with the user community.  Technical requirements include:·  BS degree in related field plus several years producing high quality work handling similar reporting-related functions·  Superb database skills in Microsoft SQL Server (2000 or 2005) and/or Oracle · Data cubes experience strongly preferred·  Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.  Must possess knowledge of life-cycle development methodologies·  Experience with other Business Intelligence and Reporting tools (Business Objects, SAS, Crystal Reports) and ·  Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry data, in particular IMS or WK/NDC, a plus. This is an empowered setting in which professionals are delegated responsibility and authority and are recognized for their efforts and contributions.  Seek a contributor who can thrive.  Company will pay top dollar for the right person.  Local candidates only.Please forward Word resume to leef@frankelstaffing.com
