Business Manager, Biochip Systems North America (East Coast)

 

Job Description

 

·  Position covers territory in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Boston and Research Triangle Park

·  Responsible for finding prospective customer contacts within the microarray marketplace, demonstrate the products and follow-up with customers up through the sale of the product

·  Follow up and processes sales leads and provide technical support for customers, monitor product usage, pricing, and product performance

·  Recommend and develop product modifications and new products based on customer interactions and customer product satisfaction

·  Up to 70% travel required to attend tradeshows, conferences and microarray customer sites

 Skills and Education

 

·  Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in a Life Science, or related field and three to five years’ related experience selling molecular biology products and/or training

·  Must be proficient in Windows, Excel, Word and database software

·  Must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills
