Business Relationship Management Strategy Planning/Strategy Director - (Job Number: 0805566) DescriptionIT Global Finance (ITGF) - Business Relationship Management & Strategy is seeking a Planning/Strategy Director who will be responsible for assisting the Director and the Business Relationship & Strategy team in preparing the consolidated IT components of the Global Finance Process Model (GFPM) and Global Financial Shared Services (GFSS). The role will also assist in developing the joint Finance and IT strategy that links the Finance Global Strategic Plan (FGSP) and the IT Strategic Plan (ITSP). The Planning/Strategy Director will be responsible for the development of a multi-year roadmap for the implementation of the GFPM (in particular the GFSS initiative) based on an authoritative business case integrating both the Finance and IT strategies and the development of the ITGF communications plan to our business partners. This role will also coordinate ITGF baseline customer satisfaction. While primarily responsible for the IT component, the role is expected to assist business partners who are either unfamiliar or inexperienced with preparing such processes. The Planning/Strategy Director is expected to fulfill the role of a subject matter expert for the delivery of enterprise financial processes. Once business cases and plans have been approved and funding secured, the Planning/Strategy Director will become a member of the governance team and be responsible for the business partners' overall satisfaction. A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. A graduate degree is preferred. A minimum of ten (10) years experience in the following areas is required: financial systems, development and/or production support; financial processes (e.g., record to report, procure to pay, invoice to cash, and/or hire to retire, etc.); project management; sector experience (within or without of J&J, outside consulting experience a plus); business planning (e.g., forecast, budget, strategic planning); major ERP experience (SAP preferred); Process Excellence (Six Sigma); strong written and verbal communications skills; and vendor management. CPA or CMA is desirable. A significant portion of this role involves focus on clients in EMEA and Asia/Pacific. Travel could be as high as 50% depending on candidate's location. Apply Now
