C++/Java Programmer, FT Mass Spectrometry Systems
Software development for the acquisition and processing of Mass Spec data, for use in drug discovery, proteomics, and bioinformatics research.
Responsibilities:
Manages release builds and software installation scripts.
Develops third party libraries using MS Studio and MINGW.
Implement and updates JNI code for integrating native C++ with Java application.
Develops new C++ and Java software according to specific project descriptions, test and debug existing code.
Minimum Requirements:
BS or higher in Computer Science with background in Chemistry or Biology preferable.
One to three years programming experience in related industry.
Strong C++, Java, and MS Studio knowledge and understanding of software release controls. Use of InstallShield software installation scripts. Experience with Eclipse, CVS Linux and ODD a plus.
Must have strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Some travel to Europe and within the US may be required.
