Job Description:

CMPMedica’s CME (Continuing Medical Education) Group ( http://www.cmellc.com), has an immediate opening for a Proposals Associate in our Jersey City, NJ office.  This position will be responsible for assisting in the management of the proposal process from initial submission through grant approval. 

 

Responsibilities: Create proposals for live, publication and multimedia educational programs.  Complete RFPs and RFIs on time and consistent with supporter processes and formats. As needed, coordinate the creation of materials for sales & networking presentations. Develop relationships and rapport with internal groups, departments, management and customers in a positive fashion. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree preferred in English, Communications, Marketing or health-related field or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience. Knowledge of medical education or pharmaceutical industry a plus. Ability to read, interpret and organize complex Requests for Proposal Must be able to prioritize and multi-task without compromising quality, provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers and speak/write clearly, concisely and tactfully, using correct grammar. Ability to interact with various management levels with tact, patience and confidentiality. Strong MS Word, Excel and Web skills needed, with familiarity of Access and Saleslogix database software. Polite, tactful and cooperative, with strong interpersonal skills. High standards of accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment Conscientious about responsibilities and self-disciplined in carrying them out. Efficient problem solver working toward the continual improvement of internal processes.
