CRM Analyst
Position Objective:Research, analyze, and report on customer relationship management (CRM) activities & campaigns to help drive strategy and increase customer value and loyalty as measured by customer acquisition and retention.Essential Functions:Design, develop and manage timely, scheduled reports on customer activity and campaign effectiveness that gives generic data analysis as well as customized reports on specific functionality.Analyze reports to discover trends, best practices, and actionable metrics. Analyze business process and provide documentation that help drive strategic direction, goals and objectives.Provide documented support materials that help drive strategic direction, goals and objectives. Conduct internal and external customer research to help support quantitative measurement and provide further focus on measuring ROI and needed improvements for CRM.Monitor best practices and industry standards for CRM and work with business managers to better market, sell, and support their products and services.Work with Marketing Managers to create pilot programs to drive traffic and marketing opportunities.Create sales reports generated from the enterprise business systems.May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.Nature and Scope:Position determines own practices and procedures and contributes to the development of new concepts. Performs duties independently with only general coaching given. Job encounters complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Decisions are made within policy constraints, however exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Education:Requires a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or other related field. Formal education in biology, chemistry, or other scientific discipline is preferred.Experience:Requires 2-3 years experience in Business Analysis with focus on CRM, eMarketing, and/or Product Marketing. Previous experience w/ Data Mapping, Data Mining, and Enterprise Management Systems required. Ability to document business processes and communicate complex concepts to interdisciplinary departments required. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills required. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Experience working with CRM systems, i.e. Siebel preferred.Contacts:Has contact with all levels of company employees.Working Conditions:Works in an office environment. Additionally, the optimal candidate must be able to leverage survey data to measure the drivers of customer satisfaction and know how to impact future satisfaction scores, and predict customer behavior. Assist marketing in identifying the key levers that drive true business impact, and in developing revenue forecasts with timely insight into optimization and tracking performance to plan. Self motivated problem solver, highly proficient in analyzing and synthesizing raw data from varied sources into actionable business recommendations.
