Join our growing team as a Cell Banking Associate!  WuXi AppTec, Inc. (formerly known as AppTec Laboratory Service, Inc.) offers comprehensive testing, contract research and development and cGMP manufacturing services for biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, cellular therapeutics and tissue-based products from a unique single-source platform.  Our Philadelphia site is located in a state-of-the-art facility at the Philadelphia Navy Yard Business Center.

Our Cell Banking group seeks an entry level Associate.  You will assist in the production of cGMP compliant Master Cell Bank, Working Cell Banks and Small-scale GMP Production.  In addition, you will work with numerous cell lines.

 

Qualified Cell Banking Associate candidate will have a:Bachelor’s degree with major in Biology, Chemistry or related Science major or High School diploma and two years or more experience in a fermentation/biologics facility or equivalent training and/or experience.  Experience in a regulated environment, cell culture experience, cell cryopreservation experience and/or related experience preferred.Overtime is required as necessary including weekend work as needed.
