BioPhase Solutions specializes in recruiting top talented professionals for San Diego's Scientific community. We are currently looking for a Molecular Biologist to work for a leading San Diego biotechnology company.

Molecular / Cellular Biologist
We are seeking a molecular/cellular biologist to assist in the expression of novel therapeutic proteins and to develop new systems that will expand the expression capabilities at our company. This work will involve a broad repertoire of molecular and cellular biology techniques including vector design and construction, DNA and RNA purification, PCR, transient and stable transfection of mammalian cell lines and determination of cell line productivity by ELISA. Other duties include: Proper notebook documentation of experimental results The generation of final experimental reports The assistance in the organization and maintaince of the laboratory Yhe presentation of experimental data at department meetings.

These duties require excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to analyze and interpret experimental results and the basic operation of computers, robotics and other computerized equipment.


Requirements:
A minimum of a BS degree in the biological sciences (or equivalent) with 2-3 years of recent and extensive relevant experience or a MS degree with 1 year experience is required.
