Chemical Technician

Hocking International Laboratories has been in business for over 30 years.  We have relocated to a new expanded facility in Vista.  Hocking is searching for a Chemical Technician who will be committed to this family owned business.  Candidates must have strong organization skills and work well without direct supervision.  We are looking for a team member who is a long term fit.  The company is growing rapidly and has wonderful growth potential.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

 

 ·  Perform quality control testing.

·  Product research and development.

·  Formulations

·  Costing of products.

·  Create sample products.

·  Manage retained samples.

·  Produce daily batch sheets

·  Generate raw material listings

·  Maintain inventory control.

·  Computerized record keeping and filing.

·  Maintain lab cleanliness and safety.

·  Work well without supervision.

·  Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

·  Able to manage a multitude of different activities simultaneously.

·  Must have a verifiable work history of career progression and stability.
