Chemistry Production Manager

Kelly Scientific is currently seeking a Chemistry Production Manager. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:' Overseeing Chemist, Lab technicians, vendors and contractors' Establish validates procedures for the synthesis and purification of custom chemical intermediates' Manage and coordinate the activities of projects with the responsibility for results in terms of timelines, cost, process implementation and employees.' Present project summaries to upper management ' Troubleshoot issues relating to final product performance through characterization of materials using analytical test methods Successful candidates should have a degree in the sciences, proficiency of organic synthesis and purification techniques, success in various stages of chemistry product development and strong knowledge of a GMP/ GLP environment. Candidates should also be able to create and develop SOPs, work instructions, and other related documentation. Knowledge of dye-based chemistries is preferred.
