This representative will be responsible for attaining Centocor sales objectives for Remicade. You will be presenting complex clinical and business information on Centocor's immunology products and services to an audience of office and institutional based Rheumatology health care professionals, government agencies, professional and patient groups, health plans and others involved in the decision making process. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of successful pharmaceutical/medical sales experience, preferably in specialty, hospital or biotech. Prior medical device sales experience is a plus. Also prior experience with injectable/infused products is also a plus. Should have working knowledge of immunology and rheumatology field. Prior experience managing through complex reimbursement issues is preferred. Prior Management Development courses is also preferred. Experience in project oriented selling situations in a high incentive and individual performance culture is preferred, along with a documented successful sales performance (high growth, results vs. plan). Must be willing to travel up to 30% or as needed depending on geography. All candidates must have a valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 states along with a clean driving record. Preference will be given to candidates living within 30 miles from the posted territory location.
