Chromatography - Field Service Engineer - Cleveland

My client is a global technology leader driving growth and innovation in the Health Sciences market to improve the quality of life.  They are a leading provider of precision instrumentation, reagents and chemistries, software and services for a wide range of scientific and industrial laboratory applications.

 

 

Position Description:

·  Install, repair, and maintain a complete line of chromatography equipment (LC/GC/LCMS/GCMS) within the pharmaceutical, government and biotech industries

·  Provide scheduled preventative maintenance calls at customer sites within prescribed time frame and established performance standards.

·  Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to the Installation, Warranty, and Service Contract provisions to provide adequate billing information to the customer

·  Drive the sale of new maintenance contracts, maintenance agreement upgrades and instrument add-ons to existing contracts.

· No overnight travel is required.  Position will be based in Cleveland.

 

Qualifications:

·  Associate’s degree in Electronics or higher (or equivalent work experience) is required.  BS in chemistry or the life sciences with experience servicing and maintaining instrumentation would be fine as well.

·  Previous field service experience with chromatography instrumentation (HPLC/ GC/ LCMS/ GCMS) is required.

 

Compensation:
