Clinical Data Programmer

 
Statworks, Inc is a high quality specialty provider of biostatistical analysis and consulting, clinical data management, and report writing services focused exclusively on clinical trials and drug development. We are looking to grow our team of talented and experienced professionals by seeking a Clinical Data Programmer.The Clinical Data Programmer will provide computer programming and quality control support for data management and statistical analysis of clinical research data for a growing Clinical Research firm. Responsibilities:
Maintain a professional working relationship with sponsors, collaborating associates, vendors, and subcontract personnel

 Understand and comply with all Company policies and procedures, including all company SOPs

 Design, validate, implement, and maintain projects in any clinical data management system used by StatWorks, Inc.

 Implement, validate, and maintain project applications that are supported by the Clinical Data Systems section

 Program and validate project-specific programming, including validation checks, consistency checks, listings, reports, and export programming in support of data management projects using SQL, ClinTrial, SAS, and other tools

 Represent Clinical Data Systems section on project teams and in project meetings

 Support users as needed

 Represent Clinical Data Systems section in company customer meetings or presentations

 Assist other Clinical Systems and Development personnel with project or development tasks as needed

 Serve as part of a development team creating or maintaining computer systems and applications

 Develop system or application in support of user need as specified by policies on application development

Lead development team in the creation and implementation of a computer system or application in support of user needs as specified by policies on application development

 Participates in other related projects and activities as assigned Education Required: 
4-year degree in scientific discipline with related computer coursework.   Experience Required: 
General knowledge of computer hardware and software, quality control, and experience with clinical data or health research is preferred.  A minimum of 2-6 years of clinical programming in a package like ClinTrial ™ and SQL,  programming experience in a professional environment is required as well as direct experience within the clinical trials industry.
