Job Title: Clinical Field Applications Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

- Provides customer satisfaction through complex APPLICATIONS troubleshooting and diagnosis on specialized instrumentation and systems

- Formulates changes in development, maintenance and system standards; adheres to technical standards, recommends process improvements.

- Participates in large-scale installations of integrated systems in the laboratory environment; utilizes process improvement techniques to establish cost reduction initiatives; ensures customer satisfaction through effective written and oral communications; and consults with management to handle difficult issues.

 

Qualifications/Competencies

- 3 to 5 years diagnostic laboratory experience.

- Professional education and applicable experience desired.

- Chemistry or hematology backgrounds a plus.

- When requested, leads training and guidance of sales staff.

- Requires extended travel—up to 80%—on short notice.

- Must have valid driver’s license and meet Beckman Coulter safe driver criteria.
