Clinical Laboratory Scientist

We are seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at our Neonatal Screening lab in Bridgeville, PA.  This position is responsible for performing clinical lab tests, procedures and analysis to provide data for the diagnosis and treatment of inborn errors of metabolism in newborns.

Job Duties:

· Prepare specimens for analysis and organizing tests to be performed.

· Preparing reagents required for lab testing, reviewing test results and maintaining clear and legible work records.

· Entering findings into the laboratory information system.

· Verifying proper instrument functioning by checking and calibrating lab instruments and documenting data.

Qualifications:

· BS in a science related discipline required.

· Experience in a clinical lab setting desirable.

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment essential.

· Ability to work evenings and rotating weekend shifts highly desirable.
