The Clinical Pharmacist,  provides quality patient care in relation to the patient’s diagnosis, prescribed treatment, age group, and other identified needs. The Pharmacist, Clinical provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients to assure safe and effective drug therapy. The Pharmacist, Clinical assists in development of research programs, etc. Performs all duties in accordance with NVCI's mission, vision and values of Discovery, Excellence, Collaboration, Compassion, Integrity and Stewardship

 

Pharm D. or Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy with equivalent experience required. Ability to prioritize and use excellent judgment is required. Must be able to coordinate a number of issues while being frequently interrupted. Must remain calm during times of crisis. Must be discreet and maintain confidentiality at all times. State of Nevada Pharmacy license and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Saver (BLS) Card required.
