Currently, we are experiencing significant growth and are conducting a nationwide search in efforts to expand our Clinical Project Management Team.  Reporting directly to the VP, Project Management, the Clinical Project Manager will be responsible for the following: 

 Serve as the key point-of-contact between internal and external project teamsPlan and execute on assigned project(s).

· Act as primary liaison (i.e. effectively communicate project timelines/milestones, assign workflow, coordinate team meetings)

· Track project budget and scope to ensure timely deliverables and within budget projects

· Establish and maintain client relationships

· Provide regular status on all aspects of a project to reporting manager and/or directors.

· Recommend departmental needs such as staffing, process solutions, efficiency practices

· Support business development proposal writing

· Responsible for project budget and timelines

· Maintain a strong working knowledge of SOPs and GCPs

· Manage project team meetings (issuing agenda, previous meeting minutes, follow up actions items)

 

The successful candidate will have any combination of the following skills/experience: (not all are necessary, but strength in many would be ideal):

 Four year degree  Minimum 5 years of professional experience (either Pharmaceuticals and/or CRO) with a strong emphasis on Project Management Strong writing, oral & presentation skills

· Excellent understanding of the conduct of clinical trails, clinical trial related systems and procedures, the regulations and be able to understand the nature of the drugs being studied are preferred

· Technical proficiency using MS Project, Excel, Word and Outlook

· Must have demonstrated experience in developing and administering SOP’s as they relate to project management

· Ability to keep projects within budget.

· Prior experience in forecasting and costing is a must

· Ability to make professional and credible first impressions with external customers, maintain strong interpersonal skills with both internal and external customers and respond effectively to sensitive inquiries

· Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and delegate authority as necessary

· Familiar with medical terminology

· Exposure to clinical data and understanding the functions of Data Management, Clinical Programming and Statistic groups are preferred
