The fastest growing division of PAREXEL, this group is a dedicated peri-approval research group committed to offering creative, cost-effective, and resourceful solutions to: ' Bridge drug development and commercialization' Increase product life cycle' Strengthen product position in the marketplace' Build product awareness The primary role of the Project Manager is to provide hands-on management, administration and leadership to the cross-functional project team, in order to ensure that the project proceeds on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction. Responsibilities of this role include directing and overseeing the performance of clinical operations, data management, medical writing, resource management, quality control. The successful Project Manager provides the client with timely project status information and serves as the key operational interface between the client and the project team. Background, Experience and Skills:' B.A./B.S. in a scientific field or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred.' Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in either a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or Pharmaceutical Company within a project management environment, preferably with late-phase trials experience.' Solid knowledge of clinical trials guidelines such as FDA regulations, ICH and Good Clinical Practices (GCP).' Strong business and financial acumen, and resource management.' Leadership skills that include the ability to gain trust and confidence with a variety of clients and team members. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. ' Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.Candidates are preferred in either the Waltham, MA or Centreville, VA area.
