Centocor Research and Development, develops innovative biomedicines. The world leader in monoclonal antibody production and technology, Centocor has brought critical biologic therapies to patients suffering from debilitating immune disorders. This person will serve as a project scientist on an oncology compound development team. Will assist in the assessment and review of clinical study data for efficacy and safety and preparation of regulatory submission; Will be responsible for oncology clinical study design and conduct, and assists in developing clinical input for the global drug development; assists in ongoing safety evaluations of the protocols and the products; will assist in the medical/scientific review of clinical research reports and other clinical documents; functions as a point of contact with external research site personnel. A minimum of a health science related educational background, such as a Ph.D, Pharm D., M.Sc., BSN or equivalent experience is required. A minimum of 1 or more years of clinical research experience required, with a minimum of 1 or more years of pharmaceutical industry experience preferred. Experience in oncology or malignant hematology clinical research is highly desirable. Experience with oncology clinical study efficacy and safety data review and preparation for regulatory submission is necessary. Good written communication skills required as well as presentation skills.
