Our extensive research and development efforts are focused on these same areas.  Both individual contributions and team successes are critical on the path to scientific and medical breakthroughs. Position Title:Clinical Research Associate II/Sr. Clinical Research Associate  Department Name: Inflamatory Disease   Location: Gaithersburg, MD Job ID Number:00329   Position Summary: Major Duties and Responsibilities: o Review and track documents for the Trial Master File o Proficient in current Clinical Trial Management System o Schedule project and group meetings o Create meeting agendas and assist in meeting minutes o Request and track site CDAs, feasibility questionnaires, and site payments o Create and maintain project related trackers o Conduct basic data cleaning for assigned projects o Assist in site selection activities o Conduct and document site visits including pre-study, initiation, interim and closeout o Provide general site management for multiple sites o Draft study related tools and forms o Assist sites in query resolution o Review data for assigned projects o Initiate and facilitate contract requests o Initiate and facilitate drug shipment processRequirements/Qualifications: Education: o BA/BS + minimum of 2 years or equivalent at the CRA II level, minimum of 4 years of experience for a Sr. CRA level.Experience: o Moderate use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques o Thorough comprehension of assigned training curriculum Special Skills/Abilities: o Builds positive relationships outside of MedImmune and leaves them a positive impression of MedImmune o Preserves positive relationships with investigators and sites, while maintaining the integrity of the study and following regulatory requirements o Collaborates with peers to initiate and effectively complete studiesJob Complexity: o Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity o Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects o Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions or recommendations may cause delays in program schedules and may result in the allocation of additional resourcesSupervision: o Works under supervision o Follows established procedures o Work is carefully reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy   If you are interested in this position, apply online at www.medimmune.appone.com. MedImmune, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
