Great Opportunity! Our client located in the Philadelphia Suburbs is seeking an experienced, creative and team oriented individual to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for development and management of projects at assigned pharmaceutical clients. The projects will include clinical training events and services for said pharmaceutical clients. The Clinical Specialist will play a role in the following functional capacities: Project Management (70%)Manage all aspects of each assigned project, including budget, invoicing, staffing, project plan and client deliverables Manage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining project schedule and quality deliverables in a dynamic environment Coordinate with other Clinical Operations personnel and Creative Services to ensure the timely and quality preparation of subject interview tapes, slide presentations and hands-on clinical requirements. Manage team of Project Specialists and Project Assistant(s) to facilitate all project tasks Ensure all project deliverables are of high quality and exceed client’s expectations Oversee study site management and coordinate site status with project sponsors Manage resources and tasks to ensure all logistics, materials and technologies necessary for Clinical Operations are in place Coordinate with project sponsors to ensure all event expectations are met Account Management (20%) Seek to identify opportunities at existing clients for our client's Training and Education’s services encompassing Change Orders and new projects Coordinate with Business Development for proposal development and submission Manage relationships within assigned client accounts including routine written, telephone and face-to-face communication Provide monthly account updates to our client's Training and Education executive management Assist with the development of new clients as necessary. Administration (10%) Provide ongoing career development, mentoring and performance feedback for supervised Project Specialists and Project Assistants Enhance our client's Training and Education business model by institutionalizing business processes, implementing best practices and templates, and seeking ways to work more efficiently Coach, counsel and provide mentoring and guidance for direct reports Job Requirements: Masters Degree or above, MD., Ph.D., Psy.D, Pharm.D, in healthcare-related field; or Bachelor Degree with 5 years clinical trial experience; or RN with 10 years clinical trial experience. Three (3) years Clinical and/or clinical research experience in one of the areas of psychiatry, neurology, or other related therapeutic areas; OR two (2) years clinical and or clinical research experience. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Familiarity with psychiatric nomenclature (DSM/ICD). Demonstrated strong analytical, organization, creative problem solving and communication skills (both internal and external) with all levels of personnel. Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Basic knowledge of statistics. Competency with conducting patient interviews. Comfortable with videotaping scale administration with patients, education videos, etc. Good negotiation and diplomacy skills. Ability to manage own time, proactively identify what needs to get done and prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to work with all levels of staff and disciplines. Solid computer skills, in particular, Microsoft Office Suite.
